Join the thousands of families who are treating themselves to 12 months of unlimited general admission and discounts on our camps, programs and events. In addition you receive free admission or discounts to over 300 other science and children's museums worldwide through the ASTC Passport Program! (Click for more info. Membership Reneweals and Early Renewal Discount:
Museum Members who renew their membership before it expires can save 10% on their renewal fee! To receive the discount, renewals need to be placed over the phone by calling 716.896.5200 x311.

Basic Memberships

Individual - $40 / year

• Unlimited general admission for one full year*
• Discounted admission to National Geographic 3D Cinema Films
• Exclusive Invitations to Members’ Receptions of exhibits
• 10% Discount at the Curiosity Shop and Tifft Stores*
• Discount on workshops, classes, trips and camps*
• Free or discounted admission to over 300 Children’s and Science Museums Nationwide through the ASTC Passport Program
• A variety of discounts with these local community partners and businesses.
(*Exclusions may apply due to contractual agreements with certain exhibits)

Family - $60 / year Benefits of Individual Membership for two adults and their children (under the age of 18) living in the same household.
Senior - $35 / year Basic Individual Membership benefits for one senior adult 62 years of age or older.
Senior Couple - $45 / year Basic Individual Membership benefits for two senior adults in the same household 62 years of age or older.
Student - $25 / year Basic Individual Membership benefits at a special rate.  Must present valid full-time student identification.
Grandparent - $55 / year Basic Individual Membership benefits for two adults and four children (per visit).

 

Enhanced Family Memberships
 

Contributing - $90 / year Basic Family Membership benefits plus 4 general admission guest passes.
Sustaining - $165 / year Basic Family Membership benefits plus 8 general admission guest passes.

 

*Please Note:

  • Museum Membership includes free General Admission to the museum’s permanent exhibits and galleries. Due to contractual agreements or obligations, additional admission charges may be required to visit special exhibits.
  • You are eligible for membership discounts once your have a membership ID number. You will receive your membership cards with your membership ID number within 7-10 days of your membership order. For online purchases and registrations, you will need to add your membership ID number to your online account by clicking on "Shop Online" and going to the "My Account" page.
  • LOCAL RESTRICTIONS APPLY: Science centers and museums located within 90 miles of each other are excluded from the ASTC Passport Program unless that exclusion is lifted by mutual agreement. Currently, Buffalo Museum has made special reciprocal admission agreements for our members with Rochester Museum and Science Center. Based on the ASTC Passport Program guidelines, BMS Members do not receive free admission to the Ontario Science Centre in Toronto.
