Wee Explorers Monthly Themed Experience (for ages 3 - 5)

Calling All Wee Explorers and their favorite caring adult to join us for a monthly group experience! Each program will engage the wee explorers in an interesting science or cultural theme through hands-on activities.

The Art of Science (for pre-K scientists!)

Offered Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 11:00am
Bring your littlest scientists to the Explorations Gallery and participate in various 30-minute science themed art projects that will explore basic science concepts and make a take home craft. Activities will vary throughout the month.

Curiosity Corner (for 3 and 4 year olds)

Offered on Mondays (3 yrs) and Tuesdays (4 yrs) at 9:15am before the museum opens to the public
Join us in the Explorations Gallery before the museum opens to the public and expose your little scientists to the basics in science exploration: nature, states of matter, color and more. Make friends and have fun with science!

Wonders of Science Storytime (early childhood)

Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at 11:30am (Summer Schedule beginning July 2013: 11am and 1pm Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays)
Listen to some of our favorite books and explore some of the many items in our educations collection that demonstrate the science both hidden and obvious in children’s literature.
