Learn with Us

The Buffalo Museum of Science is the premiere destination for science learning in Western New York. We can’t wait to welcome your school to our museum for self-guided Discovery Visits, guided tours, and hands on workshops. Dinosaurs, insects, rocks, animals, and four floors of interactive exhibits and displays are ready to be discovered when you book your school trip to the museum.

If you can’t come to the museum, let us bring the museum to you! We offer several ways for your students to experience our engaging STEM experiences from the comfort of their own classroom:

  • Invite our facilitators into your school or schoolyard for an interactive Classroom Outreach, Assembly Program, or Science Fun Festival
  • Host our Zygmunt Planetarium at your school to allow your students to discover their solar system and beyond

Need some help figuring out which Education Program might be right for you? Peruse our Educator’s Guide for more information about the programs we offer at the Buffalo Museum of Science and Tifft Nature Preserve with descriptions, pricing and suggested grade levels. Or jump right into the reservation process so you can start counting down the days until your exciting science experience.
