Whether you have one tree or a courtyard full, come play with us while we explore simple cross-curricular, nature-based activities that can be applied to your classroom. We will explore nature journaling, math in nature, basic local wildlife and plants ecology of the schoolyard, and much more! This indoor and outdoor CTLE Workshop is appropriate for anyone interested in implementing your school outdoor space once or regularly throughout your school year for grades K to high school.

From Niagara Falls to the shores of Lake Erie, learn about Western New York’s ancient past. Examine the geologic processes that have shaped the region over the last billion years. Participants will explore rocks and fossils and make connections between the geologic past and the present-day inhabitants of Western New York through hands-on activities perfect for their classrooms.
