CTLE – Main Street Astronomy: Understanding Earth’s Place in Space
For generations, humans all around the world have turned to the sky as an essential resource for timekeeping, survival, creativity, and culture. In this two-part workshop, you’ll learn how Earth fits into our solar system and discover that you don’t need advanced technology to make meaningful observations of space. Explore the series of fortunate and unlikely circumstances that have allowed Earth to support and protect life and gain the skills to use the sky as a map, a clock, and a canvas for the imagination.
