Science After Hours: Panic! at the Museum

Don’t panic, our annual spooky Science After Hours event is back! Dabble in phobias and spooky lore and engage with BMS staff and community partners while enjoying a child-free night exploring the Museum.

What do you have to fear? How about our creepiest collection items, live insects, a shark dissection with a mad scientist, study skin demonstrations, and sampling some edible crickets? We’ll also be hosting a some ghoulish guests from Ghostbusters 716 and Hidden Village Entertainment, presentations on macabre mortuary traditions with researcher Cathy Ulman and unsettling deep fakes with guest speaker Siwei Lyu, and live worms from BFLO Worm Works.

NEW: Science After Hours just got a little grosser. We are excited to offer cow eyeball dissection sessions for as an add-on to admission! See below for timed session tickets.

Food will be available to purchase from Orso Nero Pizza. Don’t forget to grab some liquid courage from the cash bar before you explore the rest of the Museum, you never know what (or who) could be lurking around the next corner.

Tickets: $29 per person (Buffalo Museum of Science members save 10%)
