Collections Live: Geology with Joe

Have you ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes at a museum? Museums take care of ‘collections’ – but what does that mean? Collections LIVE is a new initiative to turn the museum ‘inside-out’! Previously backstage activities will be taking place in public spaces – check out what goes into cataloging a collection, meet some of the staff and volunteers who’ve chosen this work as a career, bring your questions and we’ll work together to find the answers.

Collections Live: Geology with Joe is every Wednesday from 11am to 2pm on the Museum’s third floor. Bring your mystery rocks and fossils and learn how to create and catalog your collection.

No pre-registration required, activity is ongoing.

Cost: Included with Museum admission, and free for members.
