THE ART OF THE BRICK, World’s Largest Display of LEGO® Art, Coming to the Buffalo Museum of Science in February 2019

BUFFALO, NY (October 2, 2018) – The Buffalo Museum of Science announced today the world’s most elaborate display of LEGO® art, THE ART OF THE BRICK, presented by M&T Bank, will make its debut in Buffalo on Saturday, February 9, 2019.

Created by renowned contemporary artist Nathan Sawaya and named one of CNN’s Top Ten ‘Global Must-See Exhibitions,’ THE ART OF THE BRICK, presented by M&T Bank, features original pieces, as well as re-imagined versions of some of the world’s most famous art masterpieces, like Van Gogh’s “Starry Night” and Da Vinci’s “Mona Lisa,” made exclusively from LEGO bricks. Visitors will have the opportunity to get up-close with the fan favorite, “Yellow,” a life-size sculpture of a man ripping his chest open with thousands of yellow LEGO bricks cascading from the cavity.

THE ART OF THE BRICK, presented by M&T Bank, at the Buffalo Museum of Science will be on display from February 9 through May 5, 2019, and presale tickets will be available just in time for the holidays on December 1, 2018.
